I can recommend Arran Elkeles unreservedly as a Mediator.  I’d heard good reports of her from other people so I introduced her to a client who was experiencing difficulties settling a rather messy legal dispute that was dragging on and accumulating legal fees at a worrying rate.

Arran set up a mediation session between the parties in the dispute. The solicitors for both sides were involved and supportive of the proposed mediation. They also seemed to have confidence in Arran who obviously had to be objective while also understanding each side’s view and able to communicate it to the other. I attended to help my client prepare and analyse data.

The mediation lasted all day and into the evening. It was rather draining but we could all see that we were making progress.  By the end of the day agreement seemed within our grasp but we ran out of time.  The next morning after some off-line discussions agreement was finally reached.  

I have no doubt that without Arran’s efforts as a mediator the case would have ended up in court and the costs would have been much higher.  Instead, the case was settled quickly and effectively.
